The federal agency provided $6.25 million in financing for the project, of which $5.125 million was a guarantee for a loan from Peoples National Bank. Illinois Rural Development Housing Program Director Barry Ramsey, Area Director Rusty Wanstreet and Area Specialist Cathy Abell represented the agency at the event.</p>
<p>June 20th marked the open house for Autumn Ridge supportive living facility located in Vienna Illinois. The facility features 39 one-bedroom units and 7 two-bedroom units. Information on applications is available from Family Counseling Center at 618-658-2775.</p>
<p>Rural Development’s programs help to foster growth and economic stability in rural areas by providing financing and technical assistance for homeownership, business development, community needs and technology infrastructure.</p>

<p>Larry M. Mizell, executive director of Family Counseling Center, Inc., the agency that will own the facility, welcomed some 100 participants to a groundbreaking ceremony held last week in Vienna.</p>
<p>The complex is primarily funded by Peoples National Bank in Marion and USDA Rural Development, with initial grant funds through the Southernmost Illinois Delta Empowerment Zone Inc. and the Local Initiatives Support Corp. of Chicago.</p>
